Environmental policies and goals

We are firmly committed to improving the sustainability of Solna Gate, starting with a focus on the environmental impact of our building and its facilities. We are constantly engaged in efforts to reduce our environmental impact for the benefit of everyone involved, and because we are inspired by the conservation of resources for a more sustainable society. Our efforts are aimed at:

• Managing the building in accordance with a holistic, thoroughly examined philosophy of sustainability.
• Measuring and evaluating the property's environmental sustainability, including the establishment of an action plan consisting of ambitious yet achievable sustainability goals.
• Sharing our knowledge, views and experiences with our tenants, partners and the real estate market at large. By collaborating with our tenants, sharing experiences and developing new ideas, we aim to encourage a more positive outlook towards sustainability within Solna Gate.
• Introducing Green Rental Contracts as an addition to the existing rental contracts.
• Following existing laws, ordinances and regulations as a basic requirement. Wherever possible, we also aim to surpass the requirements demanded by these regulations.

Environmental goals

Our goal is to reduce the environmental impact of Solna Gate by at least 30%, compared with 2006 levels.

Solna Gate is to be environmentally certified by 2010 at the latest. Solna Gate is a member of SGBC through its parent company Mengus.
